EDUCATION
Leni Robredo graduated elementary and high school, in 1978 and 1982 respectively, from Unibersidad de Sta. Isabel (formerly Colegio de Sta. Isabel). In 1986, she graduated with a degree in Economics from the University of the Philippines - Diliman. She completed her juris doctor degree in 1992 from the University of Nueva Caceres and passed the Philippine Bar in 1997.
OCCUPATION BEFORE POLITICS
Before entering public service, Leni Robredo was a researcher and economist at the Bicol River Basin Development Program Office from 1986 to 1987. She was an Economics professor at the Universidad de Sta. Isabel from 1987 to 1997, a job she took on while earning her degree in law. After passing the bar, she joined the Public Attorney's Office until 1999, rendering legal assistance, counseling, and other legal services to indigent litigants to ensure their free access to the courts, as mandated by the Constitution. She then joined Sentro ng Alternatibong Lingap Panligal (SALIGAN) - Bicol Chapter, where she was branch coordinator and lawyer for 13 years. Here, she represented marginalized individuals in court, and provided legal education for clients through legal clinics and helping them understand relevant laws by translating and publishing Bicol Versions of the text. Aside from this, Leni Robredo founded Lakas ng Kababaihan in Naga in 1992 and was President of Naga City Council for Women from 2008 to 2010.

Kaya kahit naulan, for as long as doable ang gagawin niya sa pagbisita sa isang community, need niya gawin and stick with her schedule. Also, as a leader, kailangan mo talaga minsan na ipakita at maunang gawin yung mga ganyang bagay. Hindi para magpakitang tao but it helps boost the bayanihan spirit para lahat sa community or group ay mag-contribute. 4. I have 3 daughters they are girls
A fake, nine-month-old Facebook (FB) post that claims Vice President Leni Robredo said her three daughters were “all girls” has resurfaced on social media.
In the past 24 hours, Facebook detected the fabricated quote card, published by a netizen on March 7, to have been viewed by over 6.4 million people. It featured a grayscale copy of Robredo’s profile picture on her official FB page, juxtaposed with the statement, “I have three daughters, lahat sila babae (they are all girls).”
The vice president, a lawyer, had made no such remark. The closest Robredo made was in a March 2018 Philippine Daily Inquirer interview, where she said, in reference to her daughters: “They were all daddy’s girls.”
The comments on the FB post show that the fake quote card was an attempt to project Robredo as stupid. Several netizens chimed in with remarks they attributed to her, such as teenage pregnancy “mostly affects the youth” or “4 multiplied by 400 is 1,600.”
The remarks, which are either false or taken out of context, surfaced after Robredo said in a speech in September 2018 that “rape exists because of rapists…not because of beautiful women,” in response to a rape joke earlier made by President Rodrigo Duterte.
The netizen’s fabricated March post received little interaction between November to the first two weeks of December, before gaining traction once again on Dec. 28 when Robredo poked fun at her 18-day stint as an anti-drug official, saying she went from being “drug czar to drug char.” “Char” is swardspeak for “joke.”
The netizen’s fake quote card has been shared over 10,000 times and has received over 110,000 reactions and more than 1,600 comments.

Pati ba naman eto? Kasi tama naman siya dahil one of her platforms is to reach out sa mga tao sa laylayan ng lipunan (among the general public). So if you translate that in Filipino, sinasabi niyang bababa siya sa laylayan ng lipunan. Ang malaking tanong dapat dito ay "Bumaba ba talaga siya sa LAYLAYAN NG LIPUNAN? Yes po. Dami nga niyang resibo kahit hindi pa siya Vice President ng Pilipinas.
6. Dating Secretary ng Maynilad at Tubero. (Saan kukuha ng tubig pag walang kuryente)
Right now, nagre-rent ako sa isang subdivision at pag may brownout wala din kaming tubig dito. So nung last time nagkaroon ng bagyong Odette, nagkaroon lang kami ng tubig ng maibalik na ang koryente. Pero I never experienced this sa 9 years ko na pag-stay sa Makati.
What I'm trying to say here, iba ang sitwasyon sa laylayan ng lipunan. I visited a few relocation and resettlement areas na yung source of water supply nila is provided by the government or NGO at naka-electric pump sila. So if matagal na walang supply na koryente sa area nila, wala din silang malinis na tubig na magagamit. Alam ni VP yun kasi kahit di pa siya VP, lagi siya naka-responde sa mga disaster-stricken areas.

Pero honestly, VP Leni is not a talk show host or a journalist. Her questions aren't scripted but we have to be thankful na she's doing the extra mile to make the most out of her role. She has the time to spend with common people to hear their stories. Sino ba sa past VPs ang nag-initiate na mag-interview at alamin ang mga istorya ng mga tao sa laylayan?
Ang role lang kasi dapat ng VP, kung hindi siya binigyan ng cabinet position ng President, ay hintayin na matsugi or ma-impeach ang President para palitan ito.

Mahalagang paalala: Leila de Lima is just detained, not convicted of any crimes. Ibig sabihin, nakakulong lang sya pero hanggang ngayon, siya ay inosente. Wala syang “guilty” na hatol mula sa korte. It means no proof at evidence at false accusation palang lahat.

Binay's case filed against him were dismissed. It means, hindi siya nahatulan ng guilty. Same thing with cases na naipanalo ng mga Marcoses. Pag di enough ang evidence, we have to respect the verdict. We cannot question the decision of the court unless we have gathered anew some substantial evidence to appeal the case.
